Patch Remedy updated for Windows 10 latest updates.

Plugins4Automate is always looking forward to the next round of Microsoft updates. Whether it's WUA updates or huge security issues like the latest Intel CPU bug Meltdown and Spectre. Meltdown and Spectre exploit critical vulnerabilities in modern processors.

Meltdown breaks the most fundamental isolation between user applications and the operating system. This attack allows a program to access the memory, and thus also the secrets, of other programs and the operating system.

Spectre breaks the isolation between different applications. It allows an attacker to trick error-free programs, which follow best practices, into leaking their secrets. In fact, the safety checks of said best practices actually increase the attack surface and may make applications more susceptible to Spectre

Plugins4Automate released today a new build of Patch Remedy ( that includes several new updates for the Windows 10 platform.

For Windows 10 version 1709 we now push down the January 31, 2018—KB4058258 (OS Build 16299.214) rollup.

For Windows 10 Version 1703 we push down the January 17, 2018—KB4057144 (OS Build 15063.877) rollup

For Windows Server 2016 Windows 10 Version 1607 we push down the January 17, 2018—KB4057142 (OS Build 14393.2034) rollup

And if your still sporting Windows 10 Version 1511 we push down the January 18, 2018—KB4075200 (OS Build 10586.1358) rollup

We have also be working hard to resolve the WUA version collection issues popping up lately, so we have added some more error checking code into the maintenance script to help weed out bad data.

Patch Remedy auto updates on new releases so watch for your version of Patch Remedy to update to the build over the next 24 to 48 hours.
